John, Just a quick note to express how pleased and satisfied
I am with the "Vineyard View" stained glass art piece you created for my
home. From the initial design consultation through final installation, I
felt confident and comfortable with the process. You kept me involved in,
and I felt part of, each phase of the effort. Your and Stephanie's input was
extremely valuable and brought incredible help in taking what was a concept
in my mind to a beautiful finished work of art. You took great care in
ensuring you understood my needs. The exacting precision of the design and
measurement, the material selection process, and the high quality of the
installation and finishing work indicates true professionalism and pride in
your work. Everything was on time and in budget from beginning to end. Not
only is it a beautiful work of art, I believe it can only enhance the
comfort and value of my home in years to come. I am pleased to give your
work my highest recommendation. I look forward to working with Glass
Backwards on other projects to come.

This is a note to prospective customers, and a BIG THANK YOU to Glass
Backwards...
Having seen some of John's works through photographs, my wife and I
decided to commission a stained glass panel. Based on a few simple ideas
that we had, John and his wife Stephanie took our concept and RAN with it.
Their enthusiasm and attention to design detail (who knew that there were SO
MANY different kinds of stained glass!), combined with meticulous
construction of the finished work has provided us with a piece of art that
we'll cherish the rest of our lives. It is AMAZING the way different pieces
of glass change in appearance depending on the lighting conditions!
Best Regards,

Dear John and Stephanie,
What a feast for the
eyes! As the light shines through the glass, I am filled with untold
excitement and sheer delight each and every time. The hummingbird stained
glass fixtures come alive with such intense color and beauty of design.
The birds appear lifelike- I can almost hear their little "squeaks" and
the thrumming of their wings. We couldn't be more pleased.
Searching endlessly for stained
glass fixtures that featured hummingbirds, I soon realized that no
commercially made lights could be found. I thought our visions of such
lights were not possible. Having remodeled our kitchen, we wanted lights
that would reflect our love for these tiny wonders of nature. You made our
visions a reality- they are truly the "crowning jewels" of our new
kitchen.
Your attention to detail,
creativity, and ability to capture in glass exactly what we wanted, made
it such a pleasure to work with you.
These works of stained glass art will
bring us much happiness for years to come, and each and every time we look
at them, we will remember you and how you made it all possible.

I wanted to write and let you know that I
am thrilled with my Magnolia window! I was somewhat skeptical at first for a
couple of reasons. I dealt with John and Stephanie long distance (I live in
Westminster, Maryland), and I wanted a custom window made with all clear
glass to let plenty of light in, but still be opaque enough to make looking
into the window difficult. This window was to go in the octagonal window in
my powder room which is in the front of our house. It was somewhat unnerving
to use the powder room since you could see right into the powder room from
the front porch and the street. Between e-mail and phone calls, we were able
to select the design and I picked out the different glasses I wanted. The
virtual window that John sent really helped calm my worries on the "finished
product". The window fit like a dream and looks wonderful! I receive many
compliments on it and best of all, it has provided that privacy that was
missing in the powder room. Thanks John and Steph!!
